Summer Solstice is a magical time!
Planet Earth has once again reached the midpoint of her annual journey around the sun. Here in the northern hemisphere the Summer Solstice is a magical time, when the sun is at its highest point in the sky, giving us the longest day of the year.
Traditionally it has always been a day of joy and celebration when we cannot help but appreciate the beauty and bounty of midsummer. It's also a deeply meaningful time when we can reconnect with Nature and find nourishment and healing.
It's the perfect opportunity to turn inward, and to pause and reflect on our own journey and the path we are taking in these challenging times. It's not easy to stay centred and stay true to our values with everything that is going on in our world. We are living through an intense period of rapid change, and the chaos that is part and parcel of this can cause confusion, stress and anxiety.
Instead of letting our our energy get dissipated, we can choose to simply call a halt. We can slow down, rest and let Nature's healing vibrations soothe our jangled nerves. In reconnecting with Nature and her rhythms we find peace, healing and deep joy.
Although it may seem as if our world is in breakdown mode, many have now understood that we are in the midst of a tremendous paradigm shift. We have an amazing opportunity amidst all the turmoil and dysfunction to create a different kind of world.
We always have a choice. We can choose to feel helpless in the face of disaster and a tsunami of problems, or we can take the view that the future can only get better. Each one of us can choose to take that leap in consciousness and recognise that we can build something very different from what currently prevails.
The Summer Solstice is a symbol of hope and love, with sunlight streaming down upon us transforming the world with its radiance. We can feel gratitude for our own place in the unfolding of a new consciousness. We can dig deep and play our part in bringing about a more evolved world.
Let's all choose on this magical day to be the empowered co-creators that we truly are!
